Privacy Policy.
What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have. Built for the UK GDPR, written for humans.
Who we are
Inlucent Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, is the controller of personal data you provide to us directly, and a processor of the content you and your teammates create inside a workspace. For workspace content, your organisation is the controller.
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, avatar and the identity provider you sign in with.
- Workspace content — messages, files, reactions and metadata you create. We process this on your organisation's behalf.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address and device/browser information, used to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide the service, secure it, support you, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your content to train AI models unless you explicitly instruct us to.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on performance of a contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve it), consent (where you give it, e.g. some communications), and legal obligation.
Sharing & subprocessors
We share data with vetted subprocessors — hosting, storage and infrastructure providers — under data-protection terms. A current list is available on request, and the DPA governs how they're engaged.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and workspace content per your organisation's settings. After deletion we remove or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where law requires retention.
International transfers
Data is hosted in the United Kingdom (England). Where any transfer outside the UK occurs, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA).
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data. See GDPR for how to exercise them, or email [email protected]. For workspace content, contact your workspace administrator first.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
Children
Slick isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post updates here and announce material changes. Questions or requests: [email protected].
